There are two things you can do if you want to stand out from the 100's of other affiliates for your program.

1. Develop your own website

This website or mini-site (2-4 pages) should have mostly quality content with a text link back to your affiliate program. Remember, no one likes to be sold and its the same here. Give them so good fr.ee advice, tips and information related to the affiliates subject.

What my partner and I promote our new ebook,  "Slash Your Grocery Bill!" is offer a 7 part series, "101 Ways To Save Money" with some good content and "Sponsored by" ad (like the one above). This approach is a soft sell and most people don't object to one ad. But if you lace your page with link after link they will be turned off and turn away.

2. Forget the website and promote your affiliate through pay per clicks, including Google Adwords.

If you aren't familiar with PPC's, there is some very good advice online by those that know what they are doing. One of the best is Chris Carpenter's "Google Cash". He shows you exactly how to set up an Adwords campaign, including picking the right affiliate or niche market with targeted keywords. The key with any PPC is to find a niche market that has a demand (you can get GoodKeywords.com for fr.ee that will give the # or searches in the PPC's and how much competition there is for each).

Take your pick and just do it! You will need to test and the best way is to learn as much about the subject as you can and to track all your ads.
