DEAL WITH REAL PRODUCTS 

The 7 Deadly Sins Site philosophy is to concentrate on
promoting products that people do actually need. 
Don't focus on programs solely because of the money
making potential. 

You can't succeed long term just selling "hype" as a

Have a look around you. The competition is fierce for
hyped up money making programs with no substance. This
is what turned so many dot-coms into dot-bombs. No
Substance. 

Make sure you join at least some programs that have a 
real product that you can use to help your business
AND your customer's business. As long as the product
is real and needed, and has a built in money making 
opportunity, the success will follow.

They are ALL the latest headlines surfacing over to
our emails. 

What's the shame of all this?

That too many people will not only read this nonsense,
but believe it. It's called the "I want something
for nothing and I'm willing to do whatever nothing I
need to do to get it" syndrome. 

This kind of advertising is deceptive and goes right to 
the heart of all the wrong reasons people come to the Internet.
Is it any wonder so many people leave the Internet 
disenchanted and completely disillusioned? Yet, 
whose fault is this? 

Most people work hard for years and years and are
happy to get that 2%-3% raise the company offers them.
Well, maybe not happy but they accept it. It's
better than nothing. And they generally work pretty
hard to get that. Why is it so easy to think that
you can get on the Internet and make $500,000 in five
months? I won't even DISCUSS that insane claim of
$60,000,000, and I mean that for not only five or six
months. I mean it for probably five or six
lifetimes! 

It occurs to me that every responsible person on the Net tries 

to tell people that this is work - just like out there in the "real" world. In fact, they go farther. It is probably MORE work, but
that's the price you pay for freedom and independence. 

Who's listening? Not enough. People insist on coming on to this superhighway and think because the Internet represents millions of people, those millions of people are going to make you
instantly rich. Or, if not "instantly" then you figure you can wait a week or two. 

It Does Not Happen This Way! 

Because guess what? Those other guys are "waiting a 
week or two", as well. 

Believing that same ridiculous advertising you are. 
I am not the least bit interested in the person you
can point out to me that went online and made a
killing. Why do I care what your sponsor made last
week? What did YOU do? 

There will ALWAYS be a lucky few who have things happen. 
But if you believe this is the majority then I have some nice 
Florida wetland you might consider buying and building a 
house upon. 

The Internet is NOT a free ride. There are endless 
possibilities, yes. But, somewhere along the line you
must free your mind of the shackles of instant
wealth. If that were the case, everyone you knew who
is using the Internet as a springboard would be
inviting you over to see their new Mercedes, BMW and
Lincoln Towncar, all of which they just bought last
week. 

It's all about paying your dues. It's about
making a commitment. It's about having a dream and
being able to go the distance to follow it through. 
It's about responsible advertising. 

Yes, you can join a new program and get in first and maybe 
make a few dollars. And, yes, to be sure that's a rush! 
But Internet programs come and go so fast it's enough
to make anyone's head swim. What's bringing you in a
few dollars today can so easily dry up three days
from now it's almost a crying shame. 

Meanwhile, you're sitting back feeling like a fat cat and 
bragging to anyone who'll listen how you are "making
it". That one little burst of financial energy will
more than likely do you in. Now, you're ready for
those who have you convinced there's more where that
came from. 

Before you know it, you're buying into
every foolish notion and a few scams. What you
thought was a positive cash flow is turning red. 

Do you have any idea how many emails I got that told
me they saw my web site? I didn't HAVE a website at
the time! Did they think that because they sent me
some advertising about my non-existent web site I'd
jump on their offer? Yes, that's exactly the hope. 

Do you know why ads are saying "No bull"? Because
there is so much of it out there they are praying
you'll take them seriously. 

Get smart. Play smart. Understand that with all things good, 
there is work involved somewhere along the line. And why 
is that so hard to comprehend, anyhow? It's what
you've been doing for someone else all along, anyway.
