"way Kids Can Get Money" It's Definitely Worth Showing Your Children This..unless You Are A Kid :)

Being 18 years old at the moment, I can relate to this topic very easily =) Ive always been very entrepreneurial, finding ways to make money for toys, games and other things I wanted. Not to mention, a few sneaky pints down the pub with my mates on a Friday ;)

When I was younger the most stable thing I had was my paper round. I actually grew very fond of this as strange as it may sound. I earned 30 a week for doing it, I was up early and summer mornings were very beautiful, warm and fresh (we dont get much of that here in the uk). It also lead to me losing ALOT of weight and getting girls J. I used to be the fat kid at school that everyone loved, but no girls would go out with, I was often referred to as the little Brother, As nice as this is, itd be quite upsetting to here. Back on topic now...haha

My paper round was the most stable earner in my youth, not to long ago.

The next best thing was washing the neighbours and my parents cars, on the nicer days Id sometimes do this with friends and wed split the money. Id charge 10 a wash, and 15- 20 for a wax and polish aswell. Im sure you notice the more affluent and financially better off neighbours in your community. You can tell who these people are, often quite easily. Just go by the car, gardens and general appearance of the house. If the car is something like a top of the line bmw or merc, your quids in with the wax and polish.

The other thing I done, but wouldnt recommend was window washing. This could get quite messy quite quickly and it really sucked on cold days. I always felt it to be a bit rude to ask for clean water aswell. Dont know if thats just me or not, but it was absolutely necessary since you cant clean windows with dirty water! It just leaves a smeary mess when dry, and usually looks worse than before.

Something I never got quite to grips with but nonetheless tried was babysitting. Its definitly more a girl thing. My sister was awesome at this and good with kids so it really worked out well for her plus it was easy money. Put the kids to bed at 8, get a delivery of pizza or something to the door then cotch and watch tv for the rest of the evening. Obviously checking up on the kid at regular intervals . Job done.

All Of these are great for a bit of money, but more importantly, the relationships you develop along the way. Alot of families and people Im friends with now through doing all this when I was younger. Im recognised and respected in my local area and some of them have great connections or own businesses themselves and they have been awesome in helping me get off the ground since I left school
